I went to the VA today after getting someone to take me there and taking the nasty laxative that flushed me out. All day yesterday I did not eat except I decided to eat breakfast, which I was not supposed to. One website said ok another no. One said not to mix some stuff in, etc. The point of all this being by time I got there all worn down and on the table all stripped down naked with just a gown on, they asked me who do I have to take me home...I repond the DAV driver. Well, some state law, says, "NO way, Charlie, can't do." They give me the choice of no sedative or no Colonoscopy. Guess which one I chose?....After dressing I went right off the bat to the Canteen to get a sandwich and then waited for the driver. Slept on the way home...and more at home. Wei was making Crescent hot dogs. I finally broke down and ate one....LOL.

Colonoscopy tomorrow

I am getting picked up by DAV to go to The VA for a Colonoscopy tomorrow. I finally solved all of my problems of not having anybody to help me. It seems that if you seek you can find. AA is only there to keep you sober. Now that Clyde has me off on Sunday, I am going to start going to church at Calvary Chapel. I just have to get up there. I need to develope a family...Getting tired now...

Pain in my neck and shoulder

I have a pain in my neck and my shoulder that has awakened me. My hip is bothering also. I have to drive later today to get meds to get refilled. Why cannot the VA get this right? I cannot seem to not have drive up there. Now I have drive up there and then work and some time find the time to wash clothes and pack all in the same day. I will try to go back to sleep at 2:45Am now.

My right shoulder has been hurting a lot. I took care of the hip problem by getting some foam for my bed. I am concerned that if I do not eat for the colonoscopy, that I will have a seizure.

I have been keeping my calcium level up by eating a cheese omelet in the morning and eating a cheese snack and then cheese for lunch on a sandwich. So no one wants to listen to me about my calcium level needing to be up. If I have to much cheese, I repond by a small seizure.

But, I started listening to Dottie when the VA sent me calcium with vitamin D, but no magnesium and I started taking it, on a regular basis. I had a reaction by having a seizure. Dottie gave me Epsom Salt and that increased my magnesium.

After that I became interested in natural ways of taking care of things. The Doctors do not want to listen to me. But as long as I keep my magnesium and calcium level balance and get sleep and eat right, then I seem not to have seizures.
